Deal announcement: UK deal for Becky Albertalli!

Everybody loves SIMON! Puffin UK has speedily pre-empted the UK/Commonwealth rights to Becky Albertalli's SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA in a two-book deal. Editor Anthea Townsend is so passionate about this terrific book, and we're delighted that Puffin will be Becky's UK home.

Becky Albertalli's debut SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA, pitched as an updated You've Got Mail starring teenage boys with good grammar, in which a not-so-openly gay teen's sexual identity is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight after a private email falls into the wrong hands, to Anthea Townsend at Penguin Children's UK, in a pre-empt, in a two-book deal, for publication in Winter 2015, by Molly Ker Hawn at the Bent Agency on behalf of Brooks Sherman (UK/Commonwealth).
